You Can Now Get Scooby-Doo Costumes For Your Dog
Who’s the bravest yet dopiest of all dogs? Scooby Doo of course, and what better hero to dress our pups in?
Finally we can bring out the puppy power in our dogs with Scooby Doo themed dog-wear.
You can dress your canine up as Scooby Doo himself, or opt for a Mystery Machine costume instead.
The Amazon page for the Mystery Machine costume reads:
If your pet is afraid of the dark but loves adventure, join Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and the crew aboard the mystery machine. With its psychedelic paint job, four wheels and a handy spare hung on the front, it has plenty of va-va-woof.
For just £19.02, you can get the Mystery Machine outfit, or for a few pence more, the whole Scooby Doo suit, complete with cape.
The description for that one reads:
With Rubie's Costume Company, every member of the family can dress up all year long! Officially licensed Scooby Doo character pet costume features step-in shirt with cape and headpiece is Scooby Doo head.
The costumes are 100% Polyester and hand-washable.
Rubie's Costume Company has been creating costumes since 1950 and also create other incredible canine costumes including an Ewok from Star Wars and a Ghostbusters one.
A more terrifying one is the 'Official Rubie's Giant Spider Dog Costume' which will set you back £21.96 but would probably pay for itself in practical jokes.
Supernatural recently released a trailer for its upcoming Scooby-Doo crossover.
The episode sees our favourite boys Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) sucked into the world of Scooby-Doo and, more specifically, the 1970 episode 'A Night of Fright Is No Delight', giving Dean a chance to try his moves on Daphne.
Co-showrunner Robert Singer told EW:
Once they get over their amazement at being in the cartoon, two things happen. They say, 'We've been in a situation like this before with the Trickster and I think we're supposed to play this out.
And then they realise they're in a Scooby-Doo cartoon, which makes Dean incredibly excited because Scooby-Doo was his favourite cartoon growing up.
We're not sure if the suits will enhance your dog's supernatural mystery solving.
But at least you can hold your dog up and do the iconic 'Scoobydoobydoooooooooo'.
