3. Impromptu Trip
Brittanee had planned to take a trip to Myrtle Beach with some of her new friends. But her mother, Dawn, put her foot down. Brittanee wasn’t allowed to go. She wasn’t without her reasons, of course, Dawn didn’t know these “new friends” and more importantly, there were no adult chaperones traveling with the high schoolers. The teenager was furious at her mother but acquiesced and eventually changed her plans to include Charlotte Beach in New York State instead.
4. Night Out
Unbeknownst to Dawn Drexel, Brittanee and her friends had decided to head down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, anyway. At the same time, Peter Brozowitz, a club promoter from Rochester, and four of his other friends, also traveled down to Myrtle Beach to stay at the Bluewater Hotel on Ocean Boulevard. It was there they met Brittanee Drexel…
5. Back to the Hotel
On the night of April 25, 2009, 17-year old Britanee Drexel was last seen leaving the Bluewater Hotel in Myrtle Beach. She had apparently been heading back to the motel where she was staying to return some clothing to one of her friends. Unfortunately, she never made it back to that motel.
