Nancy, who was born as Nancy on March 25, 1917 went onto become the first of Frank Sinatra’s four wives. She met him when she was just 17 at the New Jersey holiday resort of Long Branch.

Frank, who was 19 at the time, reportedly got engaged to Nancy almost immediately.

The pair were married between 1939 and 1951, during which time they had three children together – Nancy Junior, Frank Junior and actress Tina. However in 1950 Nancy was granted a legal separation from Frank due to his ‘mental cruelty’.

Nancy’s death comes just two years after the death of Frank jr who died after suffering a heart attack.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Nancy Sinatra at this emotional time.

Rest in peace.
