Charlie Sheen Responds To Child Rape Accusations
Actor Charlie Sheen has responded to the allegations he raped 13-year-old child star Corey Haim on the set of the 1986 film Lucas.
The accusation has been made by former actor Dominick Brasica who told the National Enquirer that a now deceased Haim had told others including himself about how he was raped by Sheen who was 19 at the time.
Charlie Sheen ‘categorically denies these allegations’, a rep for the actor told The Hollywood Reporter.
The former Two and a Half Men star worked with Haim on the 1986 film Lucas.
Haim’s longtime friend, actor Dominick Brascia, told the National Enquirer that Sheen sexually assaulted Haim during that film’s production.
Haim’s name has been in the news recently after his mother pushed back on stories from Corey Feldman about the late actor being abused by a Hollywood pedophile ring, to which Feldman claims he also fell victim.
The two Coreys were close friends who worked together on a number of ’80s films.
Los Angeles police on Wednesday confirmed to THR that an investigation had been opened into Feldman’s accusations.
Going on record, Brasica told The National Enquirer:
Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas.
He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex.
Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.
In the memoir of Haim’s closest friend Corey Feldman, Coreyography: A Memoir, the alleged incident was alluded to.
At some point during the filming [of Lucas Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do’.
So they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers during a lunch break for the cast and crew and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized.
Although the actor never named Sheen, there were implications that Feldman was referring to the Two And A Half Men star.
As reported by The National Enquirer, Feldman has said previously that he is 'not a huge fan of Charlie Sheen, especially the way he has affected other people' that he knew.
The actor also added in his memoir that Haim had 'fought for his entire life to recover from those early experiences and to get his life together'.
Several other sources came forward to the magazine to support the claims made by Brasica about Haim and Sheen.
One insider claimed that 'Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was 'in love' with his abuser' putting the young actor into a vulnerable position.
Someone close to Sheen also stated that the actor had liaised with Haim but claimed that it was consensual.
Brasica also admitted that some of the relations between the two were consensual when Haim was in his mid-to-late 20s.
According to the report, dozens of sources say Haim told them about the abuse and other allegations have been made about Sheen's behaviour with other minors on the set of the same film.
A total of eight witnesses spoke out including one woman on the set who claims that Sheen inappropriately kissed her and solicited sex from her in a bathroom when she was just 17.
I talked with him for a long time and kissed him.
I was in a bathroom with him at one point. He tried to get me to have sex.
Haim was troubled by drug addiction throughout his later career and subsequently died of pneumonia in 2010.
